About Me
I want you to remember more than what you saw.
I’ve been married for nearly two decades, and the older I get, the more I realize how quickly the details disappear. You remember your wedding day. You remember how you felt standing beside the person you love. But there are so many things you never see.
Your dad trying not to cry.
Your mom holding your hand a little longer than usual.
Your friends laughing when you weren't there.
A grandparent looking at you when you weren't looking back.
Those moments are happening all around you while you're busy living the day. That’s what I’m looking for. I want to photograph the connection between you, but I also want to photograph the people who came to celebrate you. The quiet moments. The imperfect ones. The things that happen for only a second and may never happen again. Because someday, the photographs won't just remind you what your wedding looked like.
They'll remind you who was there.
And sometimes, they'll show you something you didn't even know happened.
