How would you describe your photography style?

I photograph weddings as they happen, looking for the moments and connections that make the day yours.

I’ll guide you when direction is useful, especially for portraits and family photographs. The rest of the time, I’m paying attention—to you, to your family and friends, and to what’s happening around you.

My goal isn’t to manufacture moments. It’s to photograph the ones that are already there, including the ones you may never see yourself.

How do you work with couples who aren't comfortable in front of the camera?

You don't need to know how to pose.

When direction is useful, I’ll give you enough to get comfortable and then let you be yourselves. I’m not interested in turning your wedding into a photoshoot.

Most of the time, you should be focused on each other—not on me.

Will you be directing us throughout the wedding?

No.

I’ll step in when direction helps, but I won’t interrupt your day just to create a photograph.

I’m there to photograph what’s happening, not make the wedding happen for the camera.

How do you prepare for our wedding?

Before your wedding, I study the timeline, locations, light, and the people who will be there. We’ll talk through what matters to you and where the important parts of the day are likely to happen.

I also think through the light and locations ahead of time so I’m not figuring everything out when the day begins.

That preparation lets me anticipate what’s coming, move when I need to, and stay out of the way when I don’t.

What should we expect on the wedding day?

You should expect me to be present without constantly reminding you that I’m there.

I’ll photograph the big moments, but I’m also looking around—the reactions, conversations, hands, expressions, and small interactions happening between them.

Your wedding is happening whether I direct it or not. My job is to pay attention and make sure the moments that matter don’t disappear.

What do you charge?

Wedding collections begin at $3,000.

The collection you choose depends on how much of your day you want covered and whether your timeline benefits from a second photographer. We’ll talk through your plans before you decide what makes sense.

How do payments work?

A $1,500 retainer reserves your date. The remaining balance is divided between scheduled payments, with the final payment due two weeks before the wedding.

If you need a different payment arrangement, we can discuss it before booking.

Do you charge for travel?

I’m based in Prosper and photograph weddings throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area and beyond. Any travel costs that apply will be discussed before you book and included in your agreement.

Why invest in professional wedding photography?

Your wedding only happens once. The photographs are what allow you to return to it—to remember the people who were there, the moments you experienced, and the ones you never knew happened.

What equipment do you use?

I shoot with professional Canon mirrorless cameras and a range of lenses suited to both close, intimate moments and longer-distance documentary coverage. I carry backup camera bodies, lenses, and essential equipment throughout the day.

Do you use lighting?

Yes. I use professional lighting when the situation calls for it, while relying on available light whenever it gives me the better photograph.

Are you insured?

Yes. I carry full liability insurance, and proof of coverage is available upon request.
